Washington, Mar 10 : Justin Long will co-star with Alison Lohman in Sam Raimi's supernatural thriller 'Drag Me to Hell' for Ghost House Pictures.
Long will portray the boyfriend of Lohman's character in the film, a morality tale about the unwitting recipient of a supernatural curse, reports Variety magazine.
The first choice for Lohman character was Ellen Page, who dropped out of the film last month due to scheduling conflicts.
Raimi and his brother Ivan have written the screenplay, while Rob Tapert, Grant Curtis and Josh Donen are producing the film.
Nathan Kahane and Joe Drake are associated with the project as executive producers.
Universal is distributing the project domestically and in select international territories, while Mandate Intl. will be managing other foreign territories.
Shooting for the film is slated to begin on March 31 in Los Angeles.
