Mumbai, Mar 10 (UNI) Families of the 25 Indian crew members on board the missing M V Razzak ship have demanded a re-search and a CBI inquiry into the matter.
In a memorandum to the President, the families have urged for a re-search of the missing crew members of the ship, that went missing early last month.
They have also urged for a CBI inquiry, as they suspect that the ship has become victim of foul play. According to the family members, the mobile phones of some of the crew members are ringing and SMSs are also being delivered.
The family members have said that the Director General of Shipping had warned the concerned agent against issuing any documents to the families of the crew members. When the family members contacted them they were threatened by the manning agent, they stated.
Earlier in the year 2005, 13 crew members of the ship M V Jupiter-6 of the same manning agent had went missing and they have not been traced yet.
