CPI(M-L) organises meeting demanding resignation of minister
Puducherry, Mar 10 (UNI) Puducherry unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) today organised a meeting at Ariyankuppam near here to press for the resignation of Health Minister E Valsaraj, against whom Vigilance and Anti Corruption police had registered cases.
CPI(M-L) state secretary S Balasubramanian in a statement said the party resorted an agitation to criticise corruption in the Congress government.
The party, among other issues, demanded suspension of C Anandane, who was removed as the Chief Engineer of PWD and kept under compulsory waiting list, Mr Balasubramanian added.
