City to host South Zone senior Volleyball championship

Bangalore, Mar 10 (UNI) The 15th South Zone Senior Volleyball Championship would be held in the city from Mar 12 to 16.

Talking to newspersons here today, Karnataka Volleyball Association Secretary K Nandakumar said Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka and Puducherry would take part in men's and women's sections.

Kerala were the reigning champions among both men and women events, held in Andhra Pradesh last year.

The event was being hosted by JP Nagar Sports Club and the matches would be held at SSMRV Dental College grounds, Mr Nandakumar added.
