Sirsa first distt to give info on land records in phone
Sirsa, Mar 9 (UNI) This district of Haryana has become the first district of the country to provide information on land records such as 'Fard', 'Intqaal' and 'Jamabandi' to the people on telephone.
While giving details, an official spokesman said that the facility of "home delivery on telephone call" relating to land records was being provided in the entire district. He said that this facility has already been provided in Dabwali tehsil where all the land records were computerized.
He said that any person in Dabwali tehsil could get the 'Fard' or any other record within 72 hours by dialing telephone number 01666-229035. He said that an amount of Rs 100 would be paid extra as service charge in addition to the prescribed fee.
He informed that any person could apply during any working day to get land related documents on telephone number by disclosing his or her name or village name.
The spokesman said that this system would be formally inaugurated on March 12.
He said that after commissioning this, transparency would come in the working system as well as time and money of farmers would also be saved.
