Two children burnt alive and 8 injured in Kashmir fire
Srinagar, Mar 8 (UNI) Two children were burnt alive and eight injured in a fire incident in north Kashmir district of Kupwara, official sources said today.
They said fire broke out in the residential house of one Abid Hussain Malik at village Hajeetra Tad, Karnah, early this morning.
Before the inmates could rush out of the house, the leaping flames engulfed it.
Two children of Arif Hussain, 5-year-old Masrat Bano, her 2-year-old brother Nasir Hussain and 8 other inmates got burn wounds.
Both the children died before they could be shifted to hospital, the sources said.
The other injured were admitted to hospital in a critical condition, they added.
