PMC not to merge with any political parties
Puducherry, Mar 8 (UNI) Puducherry Munnetra Congress (PMC) founder president P Kannan today categorically stated that his party would not merge with any other political parties.
Inaugurating the women's day celebrations by the Women's wing of the party here, he stressed the need for introduction of "Goondas Act" in the Union Territory and called up on the PMC legislators to strive hard for the same in the next session of the territorial Assembly.
Stating that PMC was opposed to corruptions, he said the party had prepared a list of corrupt officials.
The PMC leader exhorted the officials not to indulge in corruption or else they would languish in jails.
He said the party had evolved a scheme to provide loan to the poor and called up on the PMC women volunteers to utilise the scheme in a proper manner.
