PAU extends MoU with Moscow Environment University
Ludhiana, Mar 7 (UNI) Punjab Agricultural University and Moscow State University of Environment Engineering (MSUEE) have extended the MoU for further cooperation in the field of education, research and technology.
The MoU, initially signed on June 2, 2004, was extended by Dr.
Dmitry Kozlov, Rector of MSUEE and the PAU Vice-Chancellor, Dr.
Manjit Singh Kang.
With this, both the institutes have come to an agreement to cooperate in the areas of education (curricula development and improvement, modern information technology and distance education, joint education programme development) and research (natural resource management, water resources and hydrolic engineering, ecology and environmental protection).
There will be faculty exchange for sharing experience, delivering seminars, presenting research papers and providing assistance in curriculum development in new or specific disciplines taught in both institutes; involving modern communicative technologies for video conferences and seminars by professors of one University to students of the other, development of joint training programmes and courses and exchange of information on teaching methods, method of retraining scientists and organization of education.
