Mumbai, Mar 8 (UNI) Even as he and his party members from Bihar have started making a political issue over the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS)-led campaign against the North Indians, Railway Minister and RJD President Lalu Prasad ''failed'' to keep his date with Mumbai today.
Mr Yadav was scheduled to attend the concluding session of an All India Police Duty Meet (AIPDM), organised by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) here this afternoon.
He, however, did not turn up and the organisers could only say it was due to certain ''unavoidable'' circumstances.
In the absence of the Minister, the Prime Minister Police Medals were given away to the 17 recipients from across the country by RPF Director General M K Sinha at the function.
