Jackie Chan speaks of his love for his late father

Melbourne, Mar 8 : Actor Jackie Chan paid tribute to his father after burying him in Canberra, Australia.

Jackie's father Charlie Chan died in a Hong Kong hospital last week at the age of 93. He was reportedly suffering from prostate cancer.

"I loved my father so much," The Daily Telegraph quoted him, as telling the reporters who had gathered outside the Kamberra Wine Complex where the memorial service was held.

"He did so much for me when I was young. He was the greatest father for me," he added.

Hundreds of mourners including the U.S. ambassador and Chinese deputy envoy attended the funeral.

Charlie Chan's body was brought to Canberra from Hong Kong and was buried alongside his late wife, Jackie's mother Lee Lee Chan, who died in 2002.
