Hitler and Frankenstein win hearts and votes

Shillong, Mar 8 (UNI) They may have the most unusual names but that has in no way deterred them from winning the hearts and votes of the people of Meghalaya.

Adolf Hitler has bagged the Rangsakona seat for the NCP while Frankenstein of Congress has successfully wooed the voters of his constituency to win the Mendipathar seat.

Congress nominee Comingone Ymbon was declared winner in Raliang while Ardent Miller and Adviser Pariong were the winners for UDP and HSPDP from Nongkrem and Pariong constituencies respectively.

Founder Strong of the Congress has surely found a strong reason to be happy as he has romped home victorious from the Mawlai constituency while Hopingstone who had ignited hopes of the voters for a separate Khasi Jaintia state has won a seat in the Assembly from Nongstoin on the Hill State People's Democratic party ticket.

Friday proved to be lucky for Friday Lyngdoh as he won the Mawkhar seat for the Congress.

The results could have been more hilarious had the voters elected Hilarius Lyngdoh and Hilarius Pochen. Romeo, Darling, Moonlight, Newton, Clever, Boldness, Budshell, Gregarious, Hispreachering and Boniface also failed to win the support of their voters.
