Uttar Pradesh: BJP will reap benefits of Centre's mistakes

Gorakhpur, Mar 8: Reproaching the Congress led-United Progressive Alliance (UPA) regime at the Centre, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said the former's mistakes would prove beneficial to the party to form a government at the Centre.

''All promises of the UPA government have fallen like a pack of cards. Masses have come to know about the anti-people face behind it.

Common man is looking for a change and BJP PM nominee Lal Krishna Advani is the only choice left,'' UP BJP chief Ramapati Ram Tripathi said addressing the party's two-day executive meet here.

''Dr Manmohan Singh will always be the weakest Prime Minister...owing to the Centre's wrong policies, prices of essential commodities are sky-rocketting. It has lost control on the market. Therefore, the petrol and diesel prices are persistently showing an upswing trend,'' he underlined.

However, only these mistakes would prove favourable to BJP to form a government at the Centre, Mr Tripathi maintained.
