New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) India's top truck-maker, Tata Motors today reported a nearly flat sales figure of 54,181 vehicles (including exports) for the month of February 2008, compared to 53,707 vehicles sold in February last year with cumulative sales for the period also showing no growth at 5,15,906 units.
Its Commercial Vehicles sales in February 2008 in the domestic market grew 12.4 per cent to 31,318 units compared to 27,859 vehicles sold in February last year.
Its Passenger Vehicles segment slipped 12 per cent in February to 18,766 vehicles in the domestic over 21,322 units sold in the same month last year.
The company's flagship car, Indica reported sales of 10,129 units, a decline of 19.5 per cent.
The company's exports were also under pressure as it declined 9.5 per cent to 4,097 vehicles in February 2008 compared to 4,526 vehicles in February 2007.
