Washington, Mar 7 : Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon had to scrap a scene in her movie - because she was too short to ride a scooter.
The scene in her new movie, 'Penelope', of which she's also the producer, had a motorcycle-riding scene and it was done away with because the 31-year-old actress was too short to reach the scooter's foot-rest.
When the 'Just like Heaven' star hopped on to the scooter, she had her feet swinging even after props workers had strapped wooden blocks to her feet, which left the Oscar winner red-faced.
Finally, director Mark Palansky dumped plans for Witherspoon to ride the scooter, and had her two-wheeler pulled along by a rope instead.
"I was height-challenged. And I was a little embarrassed," Contactmusic quoted the actress, as saying.
