Puducherry, Mar 7 (UNI) The Puducherry Administration has reallocated the portfolios of IAS officers with immediate effect.
Mr Ragesh Bihar (Chief Secretary) would be in charge of Confidential and Cabinet Department, Home, Departmental Enquiries, Vigilance and would be Resident Commissioner.
Ms Naini Jayaseelan (Development Commissioner) will hold portfolios of Develop Commissioner, Relief-cum-Rehabilitation Commissioner, Fiance, Commercial Taxes, Accounts and Treasuries, Planning and Research, Agriculture, Economic and Statistics, and Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare.
C V S Rama Rao (Education Secretary) would be in-charge of Education, Art and Culture, Social Welfare, Adi Dravidar Welfare, and Women and Child Development.
While R K Gupta (Rural Development Secretary) would be Chairman of DRDA and Chairman of Puducherry Experimental Solar Pond Project, S Kumarasamy (Secretary to Lt Governor) would act as Chief Electoral Officer, Secretary Elections, PWD, Information and Publicity, Stationary, Printing and Tourism.
A C Verma (Secretary Health) would look after Science, Technology and Enviornment, IT, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, and would be Chairman PAPSCO and Ports.
Industries Secreatry A K Singh would be incharge of Industries and Commerce, Power and Transport departments.
D C Sahoo (Personnel Secretary) would look after Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, General Administration Department, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare and would be Chairman of PONCARE.
T M Balakrishnan (Revenue Secretary) would look after Registration, Survey and Land Records, Excise, Temple Administration and Wakfs, Housing, Town and Country Planning and Cooperation.
G C Joshi (Secretary Local Administration) would be Co-ordinating Secretary (Elections), Labour and Enforcement Cell.
