New Delhi, Mar 7: After stupendous success of sourcing guides in international markets, India's largest B2B marketplace IndiaMART.com has launched another path breaking initiative to take Indian manufacturers and suppliers to a next level. IndiaMART has joined hands with Triune Exhibitors to bring synergies from online and off-line space together. As part of the initiative, India's largest machine tool exhibition, AMTEX is re-christened as IndiaMART AMTEX.
The alliance is meant to provide extended reach and more footfalls to the event as the event is being marketed to more than five lac members of IndiaMART. Manufacturers and suppliers would also benefit through enhanced exposure to buyers. IndiaMART AMTEX inaugurated on February 23, attracted close to 5000 visitors everyday as it was held along with three other trade fairs on Rubber, Media and Lighting. This five-day event was spreaded across 15000 square meters, completely focused to showcase the latest trends, technologies, innovations, products and services from Machine Tools and Engineering Industry.
With a total of 1000 stalls, the range of business visitors counted to 28,000. Apart from India, 80 per cent stalls were booked by companies from abroad. Indian companies witnessed a great amount of exposure to International clients from countries like Germany, Taiwan, China, Singapore, USA, UK and many more.
This grand event, which is organized after every two years, is in its fifth edition.
Historically, it has been organized in Bangalore but this time it was held in Delhi as north India is full of machine tool manufactures and no similar fair of this scale is being organized in the region.
