Ex-MLA's house gutted, four injured in Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 7 (UNI) House of a former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) was gutted and two fire-fighters were injured while two persons were wounded in a road accident in the valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said fire broke out in the house of Ghulam Rasool Naz, a former MLA at Bandipora in north Kashmir.
Before the fire tenders could control the flames, the house and nearby cowshed were completely reduced to ashes.
Two fire-fighters were injured during the incident, they said adding the wounded were hospitalised.
In a separate incident, a motorcyclist was injured when he fell down after hitting a pedestrian at Mirgund on Srinagar-Baramulla road. Both the injured were hospitalised.
