BharatMatrimony.com tops matrimony space

Chennai, Mar 7: BharatMatrimony.com, the marriage portal operating through its 15 regional portals, continues to be the undisputed leader in the matrimony space, according to latest global research reports.

According to Comscore report, Bharatmatrimony had received 17 lakh unique visitors in January 2008, which was equal to the sum of unique visitors received by all the national matrimony players during that period and double that of the nearest competitor, a company release here today said. The second and third players in the market had received 8.71 lakh and 6.93 lakh unique visitors during that period, the report said.

The dominance of BharatMatrimony had been showcased in the latest India Online 2007 study by JuxtConsult. It showed that over 35.5 per cent of online matrimony users prefer BharatMatrimony over other sites, the release added.
