RIL offers cash incentive to Ravindra Jadeja

By Staff

Jamnagar, Mar 6 (UNI) Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has announced a cash incentive of Rs 25,000 per month for three years to Jamnagar's young cricketer Ravindra Jadeja to help him build a promising career.

The cash incentive is being offered by the RIL to Mr Jadeja, vice captain of India U-19, for putting up a brilliant all-round performance at the U-19 World Cup, played at Kuala Lumpur recently, a company release said here today.

Mr Parimal Nathwani, Group President, Corporate Affairs of RIL, in a letter to Mr Jadeja offered the incentive as a token of the Company's affection and appreciation for a talented cricketer like him.

''It is an incentive given with a view to allow you a worry-free time, which you can utilise to groom yourself and become an international cricketer,'' Mr Nathwani said in the letter.
