Hyderabad, Mar 6 (UNI) Leaders took exception to the reported statement of the TDP General Secretary and former Minsiter Kadiam Srihari on the separate Telangana issue.
Kadium Srihari reportedly made a statement to a section of the media that the TDP should take a decision on a separate Telangana in view of the sentiments of people of the region. The party would face problems in the future if it delayed the decision.
However, senior leaders of the party N Janardhan Reddy, E Dayakar Rao and Yanamala Ramakrishna, taking strong objection to the statement made by Srihari, said it was not good on the part of party leaders to express their views on Telangana issue without discussing in the party forum.
The party had not discussed the Telangana issue and it would take a decision at an 'appropriate time', they added.
