Kidwai releases books on police system
Chandigarh, Mar 6 (UNI) Haryana Governor Dr A R Kidwai urged the writers, editors and authors of books, magazines and journals to bring awakening among the people for better understanding of the existing police and judicial systems of the country.
The Governor said this here today while releasing two books titled Right Based Policing-A Police Diary' and 'Avantar' written by Dr K P Singh, a Haryana cadre IPS officer of 1985 batch, currently posted as Inspector General of Police, Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban.
Congratulating the writers of these books the Governor said "The contents of the books are very important and relevant because the books deal with the role of policing system in the maintenance of law and order." Complimenting the writer for these publications the Governor said that these books would not only create public awareness about rights and privileges of the people but would also guide the police personnel about their duties and responsibilities.
