Chiripal Group Director Vishal Chiripal said that the launch of exclusive brand was to provide premium quality garments and accessories at value prices. ''ConneXions'', designed as a men's lifestyle and women's casual brand, will be sold at the Group's exclusive retail outlet in the Ten Acres Mall in the heart of the city.
He said that the Group plans to open 30 such brand outlets by March 2009. Of these, 11 will be in Gujarat - four in Ahmedabad, two in Vadodara, two in Surat, one each in Rajkot, Jamnagar and Bhavnagar. These will be followed by four outlets in the metropolis, one each at Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Indore, Bhopal, Jaipur and Udaipur.
In addition to its own outlets, it will have 50 franchisee outlets, which will come up between September 2008 and March 2009.
The group estimates that the retail foray would add Rs 50 crore per annum to the kitty.
The ''ConneXions'' collection comprises casual wear such as Knit T-shirts, Denim Jeans, Skirts, Capri, Polar Jackets, Party wear and Night wear, he said.
