Police seize boat for banned LTTE

Kochi, Mar 5: The Tamil Nadu police, with the assistance of local police, today seized a boat under construction, allegedly for the banned LTTE, from a boatyard at Munambam, near here.

Police said the five-member Tamil Nadu police team, led by CI Bharatchandran, and the local police made the seizure following information from two alleged LTTE operatives, who were recently arrested in Tiruchirapalli, that a boat was being constructed for the outfit at Sudha Boatyard here.
Further investigations were on.
