Neelam Katara moves court seeking ban on DP Yadav's comments

New Delhi, Mar 5 (UNI) Neelam Katara, mother of Nitish Katara, who was murdered allegedly by Bharti Yadav's brothers, today filed an application before the Patiala House court that UP politician D P Yadav, should be restrained from making any commment related to the matter before the media as per the order of the court.

Vikash Yadav and Vishal Yadav, son and nephew of D P Yadav are accused of kidnapping and killing Nitish Katara as they did not like his proximity with their sister Bharati Yadav.

Nitish Katara, son of an IAS officer was murdered on the intervening night of February 16-17, 2002 in Ghaziabad where he had gone to attend the marriage of their friend Shivani Gaur.

The matter is now in stage of final argument on defence side.

Additional Sessions Judge Ravinder Kaur adjourned the matter for hearing on March 7, 2008.
