Bird hits 320 Boeing aircraft in city sky
Kolkata, Mar 5 (UNI) An Air India airbus-320- from Agartala hit a bird while landing at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International airport here this afternoon.
The plane with 101 passengers, however, safely landed.
Engineers discovered a small dent at the left engine of the aircraft. After repaired, the plane left for Delhi.
Another airbus 320 of Air India had to be grounded in Guwahati after it landed there. The aircraft left here had developed a snag after takeoff. It was reportedly tilting to one side, sources stated. Passengers booked on the return flight were sent by another flight.
