The car, which is already in the market, has sold 10 units so far. The car has a four-way drive and therefore, joins the growing segment of 'four-door coupes'. ''As a high-end luxury brand, Audi is very famous for having a close connection with style and fashion. Our entire range, especially, TT Coupe, underlines our extraordinary expertise in design and lifestyle,'' Audi India Vice President (Marketing) Martin Berkner said. It has a feather weight body made of a mix of aluminium and iron and the heart of the car is powered by a six cylinder, 3.2 litre engine.
Audi India has sold almost 1,000 cars since its launch in the country two years before and ''targets to sell around one million cars worldwide this fiscal,'' added Mr Berkner. The company also plans to relaunch its Audi A8 W12 in the middle of the year.
The car will be launched with major changes like fully aluminium body and overhauled interiors. TT Coupe along with the revamped luxury sedan Audi A8 W12 will be showcased at the 11th Wills India Fashion Week, starting March 12-16.
