Tripura Congress government in death wish

Agartala, Mar 4: Following heated debates on the outcome of tenth Tripura Assembly Elections two Congress supporters died of cardiac complications in two separate incidents.

Police said 70-year-old Nepal Chandra Das, a bookstall owner in Udaipur of South Tripura district, picked up an argument yesterday with friends about the Congress"s performance in the elections. Mr Das felt giddy and complained of chest pain and he was rushed to Udaipur hospital where he died of cardiac arrest within half-an-hour.

Meanwhile, 62-year-old Narayan Chakraborty sat discussing the possible outcome of the polls with friends and colleagues in the Employees Federation office in Khowai of West Tripura last evening and in the course of discussions Mr Chakraborty felt an acute chest pain and was rushed to Khowai sub-divisional hospital, where he expired within 15 minutes, police said.
