Washington, March 4 : Singer Enrique Iglesias has revealed that he plans to quit the music industry before he turns 50.
The 'Hero' hitmaker said that his brand of lively pop music is not made for a man of middle age.
And thus, unlike his famous father Julio, Enrique will call an end to his career as he comes close to the half-century mark.
"I'm not sure I want to be up on a stage when I'm 64 or 65. In my father's case, I think he's going to die onstage and I respect that very much," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
"In my case, in 15 years I'll probably look ridiculous singing Bailamos... I want to retire in the next 15 years... Who knows if I'll have the courage to do it when the day comes," he added.
