Commuters facing hardships due to shortage of vehicles in Nagaland
Kohima, Mar 4 (UNI) People in all the district headquarters OF Nagaland are facing transportation problems as most of the private vehicles have been requisitioned by the Election department for poll-related duties.
Most of the vehicles, including taxis and buses, have been requisitioned by the state Election department in the district headquarters for transporting polling officials, observers, micro-observers, security forces and other personnel ahead of tomorrow's Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, the transportation problems also resulted in shortage of vegetables and other food and dairy products, including fish and meat.
However, the Nagaland State Transport buses were plying in limited numbers, providing a little relief to the commuters.
