Power crisis to end by May this year : Koda
Ranchi, Mar 3 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today said existing power crisis would be sorted out by the end of May this year.
Replying to the queries in the state Assembly during special debate over power crisis, Mr Koda said efforts were on to repair the defunct power generating stations of the state.
'' By the end of May, we will also supply to the neighbouring Bihar, '' Mr Koda added.
Speaking about the Rajeev Gandhi Gramin Vidutikaran Yojna (RGGVY), Mr Koda said steps were being taken to provide power to the rural population, and all the 24 districts would be covered under this scheme.
Othes, who participated in debate, were Sukhdeo Bhagat (Congress), Radhakrishna Kishore (JD-U), Ravindra Nath Mahto (JMM), Dinesh Sarangi and Chitaranjan Yadav (both BJP).
