Hyderabad, Mar 3 (UNI) TDP Legislature Deputy Leader T Devender Goud and 22 other TDP MLAs were suspended for a day from the Andhra Pradesh Assembly today.
They were suspended for stalling the proceedings even after a brief adjournment of the House.
Legislative Affairs Minister K Rosaiah moved a resolution for their suspension, which was adopted by voice vote.
As the TDP members refused to leave the House, the marshalls forcibly removed the TDP members even as they raised slogans, protesting indiscriminate sale of government lands.
Earlier, the Speaker adjourned the House for ten minutes when the TDP members stalled the proceedings over the issue.
The House witnessed pandemonium soon after the Speaker disallowed adjournment motions of the TDP and the CPI on the issue.
