Bihar: 35 injured in road mishap

Dehri-on-Sone, Mar 2: At least three people were killed and 35 others injured when a bus carring a marriage party hit an electric pole near Nokha village in Rohtas district today.

District police superintendent N H Khan said the ill fated bus was on its way to Nonhar village under Nokha police station area, when the incident took place. Three people died on the spot while 35 others sustained serious injuries.

''The injured were admitted to sadar hospital in Sasaram where condition of six people was stated to be serious,'' police said, adding the loss of control of the driver over his vehicle appeared to be the reason behind the accident.
