Four industrial areas to be set up in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, Mar 2 (UNI) Four major industrial areas, at a total cost of Rs 500 crore, will be established in Chhattisgarh's Raipur, Bilaspur, Raigarh and Rajnandgaon districts on 6,814 hectares.
Rehabilitation schemes are being drafted for the industrial areas, for which 6,814 hectares are earmarket, official sources said here today.
The break-up is 2,074 hectares in Rajnandgaon's Jora Tarai (Rs 150 crore administratively sanctioned), 791 hectares in Bilaspur's Dagori (Rs 59 crore), 2,483 hectares in Raipur's Tilda (Rs 117 crore) and 1,466 hectares in Raigarh's Larat (Rs 91 crore). The land includes private property.
Small-scale industrial areas were being set up at district headquarters. Under an Integrated Industrial Development Centre Programme, such areas were being established over 96 hectares in Mahasamund district's Birkani, 21 hectares in Kabirdham district's Harinchapra, and 20 hectares in Sarguja district's Nayanpur-Girwarganj.
