BoB organises e-banking workshop for customers
Chandigarh, Mar 2 (UNI) Bank of Baroda (BoB) today organised a workshop on e-banking to familiarise its customers with the existing internet services available with the bank network, which can be utilised for speedy and effective disposal of banking needs.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mr R K Lakhanpal, Deputy General Manager in which customers witnessed demonstration and practical tips being given to participants on the use of internet banking services, especially Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) and National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) which are available across the 1,800 Core Banking Solutions branches of BoB country wide.
The customers of BoB were enlightened upon the utilities of these services which can transact complicated transfers in a matter of minutes on customers' personal computers through internet banking.
Customers were told about the easy pay options of telephone and electricity bills, LIC premiums and other monetary and funds transfer transactions through their PC.
Experts from BoB told the gathering about the utility of National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) payment system which enables funds transfer from any part of the country to any other part through net settlement.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Lakhanpal said that BoB had expanded its network of branches and ATM counters at a phenomenal pace in last few years.
With 1,800 branches and over 1,200 ATMs country wide, BOB offers an unmatched range of services which stands bolstered by the advanced internet banking services which can be accessed on internet, he added.
