London, Mar 2 : Amy Winehouse will face no further action in connection with her jailed husband Blake Fielder-Civil's upcoming court case over alleged assault and perverting the course of justice.

Police quizzed Winehouse in December over allegations she attempted to pervert the course of justice, before releasing her on bail and warning her she'd be asked to return to the police station for more questioning.

However, police declared the star would play no further part in their investigation, reports the Sun.

Meanwhile, Fielder-Civil confronted judges without the support of his wife, who failed to attend his court appearance.

Winehouse has stood firmly by Fielder-Civil and has attended all his court hearing so far.

However, on Feb 29 there was no sign of the singer as Fielder-Civil took to the pleaded not guilty to the conspiracy charge.

The pop star was absent because she was travelling to Paris to perform at a party for luxury goods maker Louis Vuitton.

Blake's mum, Georgette Fielder-Civil, was not pleased with singer's absence and branded the star 'a disgrace' for failing to support her hubby in court.

"It's disgusting that she couldn't be bothered to turn up. All she had to do was get to the court and show Blake she cares. Is it that difficult?" she said.
