4 industrial areas will be set up in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, Mar 2 (UNI) Four major industrial areas, at a total cost of Rs 500 crore, will be established in Chhattisgarh's Raipur, Bilaspur, Raigarh and Rajnandgaon districts, 6,814 hectares were earmarked for the purpose and rehabilitation schemes being drafted, official sources said here today.
The break-up is 2,074 ha in Rajnandgaon's Jora Tarai (Rs 150 cr administratively sanctioned), 791 ha in Bilaspur's Dagori (Rs 59 cr), 2,483 ha in Raipur's Tilda (Rs 117 cr) and 1,466 ha in Raigarh's Larat (Rs 91 cr). The land includes private property.
Small-scale industrial areas were being set up at district headquarters. Under an Integrated Industrial Development Centre Programme, such areas were being established over 96 ha in Mahasamund district's Birkani, 21 ha in Kabirdham district's Harinchapra, and 20 ha in Sarguja district's Nayanpur-Girwarganj.
