Visual IQ opens centre in city for back office operations
Kochi, Mar 1 (UNI) Boston-based Visual IQ, a provider of digital marketing business intelligence, today announced the opening of its Kochi office to handle back office operations.
Talking to newspersons here, Visual IQ, formerly Connexion.A, President Anto Chittilappilly said the office here had started operations recently with a staff of 35 people. The company planned to increase thrice its staff strength in one year, he added.
Stating that several Global 2000 companies were among its clients, Mr Anto said among the leading customers were, Microsoft, Adobe Systems, Pfizer, Wachovia Bank and the US Army.
Claiming that Visual IQ was the first digital marketing business intelligence company in the world providing inputs on media across channels, including online, offline, visual, print and mobile and outdoor marketing, Mr Anto said their inputs helped the clients to streamline their spending on advertisements.
The company, which was only three-and-a-half-year old, had touched a turnover of US Dollar ten million last year, he added.
Head of the India operations and company vice-president Vincent Chittilappilly said Kochi was chosen over Mumbai and Bangalore, among others, due to better infrastructure facilities at affordable cost, a pool of skilled talent and the state's socio-cultural background.
While stating that the big spending Indian companies at present were not concerned about the returns on their investment in advertising, Mr Anto said with the increase in competition, Indian companies may also turn to marketing business intelligence services in the next two years or so.
