Vikram University convocation
Ujjain, Mar 1 (UNI) External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee will take part in the convocation ceremony of the Vikram University here tomorrow.
Honorary degrees would be awarded to former Chief Justice of India Ramesh Chandra Lahoti, Chemical Engineering expert Udayshankar Awasthi, Journalist Alok Mehta, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avadheshanand Giri, Classical musician Gokulotsav Maharaj and social worker Dr Anil Kohli.
Governor and Chancellor Balram Jhakhar will preside over the function while Gujarat Governor Naval Kishore Sharma will be the chief guest,'' Vice Chancellor Ram Rajesh Mishra said, adding Union Minister of State for Personnel and MPCC President Suresh Pachouri and Minister of State for Education Paras Jain would also take part.
The 'Swarna Jayanti Dwar' and 'Vagdevi Bhawan' will also be inaugurated tomorrow, Mr Mishra added.
