Maruti Suzuki's sales up by 1.3 pc in February
New Delhi, Mar 1: Country's leading car maker, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd said today it has sold 63,822 vehicles in February compared to 62,999 units, an increase by 1.3 per cent in the same period last year. The company said it has sold 59,311 units in the domestic market, up 0.4 per cent from 59,095 units a year earlier.
Its
exports
rose
by
15.5
per
cent
to
4,511
units
from
last
year's
3,904
units.
During
February
2008,
it
also
became
India's
first
car
manufacturer
to
export
five
lakh
cars
cumulatively.
