Bangalore, Mar 1(UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.
Dry weather prevailed over the State.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably below normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka, however below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.
Mangalore AP recorded the maximum temperature of 36.5 degree Celsius over the State. Minimum temperatures rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were below normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and below normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over North Interior Karnataka.
Agumbe recorded the lowest temperature of 12.7 Degree Celsius over the State.
Forecast valid until Monday morning: Light rain likely to occur at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather will prevail over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light rain likely to occur at isolated places over Kolar, Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajnagara, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban and Tumkur districts and mainly dry weather will prevail over remaining districts of the State.
Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Maximum and Minimum temperature would be around 32 and 18 degree celsius respectively.
