DHBVN to revive cancelled pleas for tubewells up to Apr 30
Chandigarh, Mar 1 (UNI) The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to give a chance to the farmers in its area to get their cancelled applications for tubewell connections revived up to April 30.
A Nigam spokesman said here today that some farmer applicants could not avail the opportunity to have tubewell connections due to their financial constraints or other engagements and their applications were cancelled by the DHBVN due to non fulfilment of conditions of demand notices.
In order to give relief to all such applicants, DHBVN has given a chance, irrespective of period of their cancellations, for revival of tubewell connection applications, provided they come forward with written consent to the Assistant General Manager/Operation concerned, to comply with the requirement of demand notices as per prevalent instructions in the Nigam.
This one time chance for revival of cancelled applications shall be valid up to April 30, 2008. After expiry of the period, the applicants who do not come forward for revival of their cancelled applications shall formally be informed regarding cancellation of the applications and their security shall be refunded.
