BJP to organise Telangana bandh on March 14

Hyderabad, Mar 1 (UNI) The BJP Andhra Pradesh unit President Bandaru Dattatreya today said the party would organise 'Telangana bandh' on March 14 when the AICC President Sonia Gandhi, was scheduled to address a public meeting in the city.

Alleging that Congress leaders in the State and at the Centre had deceived the people of Telangana by not fulfilling the promise of separate Telangana made during the 2004 election, Mr Dattatreya said his party would expose the betrayal of Congress on Telangana issue.

BJP was ready to support the bill for Telangana in Parliament, if adding that the Congress introduced it, Mr Dattatreya said the party would continue the struggle until the formation of Telangana.
