AICC to discuss poll strategy for MP Assly elections

Bhopal, Mar 1 (UNI) The All India Congress Committee would deliberate upon party strategy for upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and formation of core group of the party apart from other issues at its meeting in New Delhi on March 4.

Party sources said Union Ministers Arjun Singh, Kamal Nath and Kantilal Bhuria, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh and state party President and Union Minister of State Suresh Pachouri, former state president Subhash Yadav and Leader of opposition Jamuna Devi would take part in the meeting.

The meeting would focus on Madhya Pradesh where assembly polls are scheduled to take place at the end of this year.

''In this regard, a programme could be organised soon in Madhya Pradesh during which all senior party leaders would show solidarity and blow the election bugle,'' sources added.
