1.5 metre long wire extracted from urinary bladder of youth

Balaghat, MP, Mar 1 (UNI) A 1.5 metre-long wire has been extracted from the urinary bladder of a youth through operation at the district hospital.

Hospital surgeon Dr K K Khosla and his assistant Dr Dabadgaon said Ganesh (34), resident of Chachan Meta villagte was suffering from excruciating pain due to the presence of wire in his bladder.

But he is well now after extraction of the wire, they said.

Ganesh was admitted to the hospital suspecting a stone in his bladder, but the X-ray revealed a round wire.

Ganesh alleged that his father-in-law wanted to kill him. He had called him at home and gave him some alcohol and food. Since then he was ill unable to work.

He claimed that his father-in-law had attempted to kill him earlier also he fed him some glass pieces. However, he took treatment and recovered.

Ganesh was facing financial problems and had approached Balaghat Collector Gulshan Bamra for help. He was admitted to hospital on the directions of Mr Bamra.
