Wipro disappointed over the budget
Bangalore, Feb 29 (UNI) IT giants Wipro was disappointed over the Budget proposal for 2008-09 presented in the Parliament today by Union Minister P Chidambaram.
Wipro Chief Financial Officer Suresh Senapathy, in his reaction, said that STPI extension request was not addressed in the budget.
"We have one more budget to go. It could very well happen in post budget announcement or in the next budget".
He said that "we would have liked much more moderation of String Benefit Tax (SBT) on employees benefit but it did not happen".
