Two officials in ACB net for accepting bribe

Hyderabad, Feb 29 (UNI) A bill collector of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Circle No 9 was caught red-handed at the house of a complainant here today while accepting a bribe of Rs 8,000 for doing official favour.

According to an ACB release, Bommai Ramesh threw the money on seeing the ACB team. They seized the amount and arrested him.

Ramesh would be produced before the Special Court in the city.

In another incident a Tahsildar of Samarlakot A Venkat Rao was trapped when he accepted a bribe of Rs 500 from a complainant for doing official favour.

The official was arrested. He would be produced before the Special Judge for ACB cases in Visakhapatnam, the release added.
