Dhumal calls for prompt action for public grievances
Shimla, Feb 29 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said that to address the grievances of the common man, prompt action is required at appropriate level of administration.
Mr Dhumal was addressing a meeting of the South Zonal Officers at Dharamshala to thank them for their cooperation during his visits to various districts.
The Chief Minister said that during his winter sojourn he had visited the districts of Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Mandi, Kullu and spent most of the time at Dharamshala where he listened to the woes of over 25,000 persons.
He said that large number of applications had been submitted by the people, majority of them for minor relief and implementation of administrative orders.
He said that every person had been provided opportunity to raise his concern before him in person and necessary directions had been passed instantly on every application received.
