BJP leader Swaminathan threatened
Puducherry, Feb 29: BJP National Council Member Swaminathan today lodged a complaint with the police that he had received anonymous telephone calls threatening his life.
In his complaint to the police here, the BJP leader said he received threatening calls twice last evening stating that he would be killed last night itself.
He alleged that he was threatened after taking the initiative to collect documentary evidence against Health Minister E Valsaraj.
Orleanpet police which enquired into the complaint found that the calls were made from a public phone.
Efforts were on to trace the culprits, police said .
