Magistrate refuses Asif's lawyer to meet his client
Hubli, Feb 28 (UNI) The First JMFC court which was hearing the bail petition of Mohammed Asif, who was in CoD custody for the alleged links with terrorist organisations, refused to grant permission to Defence lawyer to meet his client.
The Judge while hearing the bail application of Mohammed Asif, a medico, ruled that the defence lawyer can meet the accused only after subjecting him to Narco Analysis test by CoD.
The judge also barred the defence lawyer to meet Mohammed Asif, privately endorsing the prosecution lawyer A P P Kiran Patil.
Earlier Mr I M Jalgar, the advocate appearing on behalf of Mohammed Asif, appealed to grant permission to meet the accused who was lodged at Bellary central jail.
