JPCC demands termination of LO's legislatureship
Ranchi, Feb 28 (UNI) Accusing Opposition leader Arjun Munda of unconstitutional behavior during Governor Syed Sibtey Razi's address at the State Assembly yesterday, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) today demanded termination of the former's legislatureship.
Terming Mr Munda's behavior, at the beginning of budget session, as irresponsible and unconstitutional, the JPCC said the Speaker should make public the speech of the former so that people would "know what kind of language was used by the Opposition leader", against the governor.
''Delivering a parallel speech to the governor that too in the assembly is unconstitutional,'' JPCC spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey said.
Mr Dubey said the Opposition just wanted to create obstacle in the House proceedings by using such means.
He said that if the Opposition had some issues then they should raise in the House without disrupting the proceeidngs.
Yesterday, Mr Munda delivered a "parallel speech" in the state assembly with the governor's traditional address in the house as a mark of protest.
